And it gets worse, as I often get started with new ideas before I finish the older projects... (I still have to finish my extended draconic pantheon for example... I've been working on it for over a year, and so far I have only actually finished one of the deities...) :D

heh, i know what ya mean... gods conversions are officially on hiatus at the moment (but i WILL get back to them!)
creatures by poll is basically dead, but i will finish the 3rd one sooner or later.
i totally gave up on the "color wheel" dragons
my forgotten realms conversions got so stale that knight otu is finishing them up now. ;)

but, on the bright side:
i did get the guardinals done, and i FINALLY got the illithid-kin finished. :)

I voted for them:

Belhandra - Oh yeah, as you said.

Daernan - Not enough gnomishness all-around.

Felique - Actually because my world's main paladin deity is a goddess.

Omata - Couatl are just cool.

Quelvarin - Sphinxes also. Wonder why lammasu and shedu are not considered to be part of the sphinx family, by the way. To me they are.

Baramine - Actually because of the name. It sounds like barre-à-mine to my French ears (don't find translation, but that's to crowbars what claymores are to daggers).

Fleur - Another funny name (flower).

And finally, I missed Elhandria, but I would have voted to her also otherwise. We can never have too many good beings associated to night and darkness. D&D always forget the soothing, quiet aspect of darkness, focusing instead on its "I can't see, everything looks like monsters" aspect.

did you actually submit your votes gez? it doesn't look to me like any of the numbers for those choices went up.

36 votes so far, the ascendant shadow looks like it's next in line...

Boz: Hey, I'm trying to finish the colorwheel dragons, I did the purple, but people didn't seem that interrested in the orange or yellows... But I will eventually get back to them... key word being 'eventually' :D

Also, I'm considering converting the rain dragon from the Maztica Campaign Setting. That has got to be the first dragon that doesn't even remotely look like a dragon. :D

Yes, but yesterday. Boards sluggishness and simple distraction delayed my post of the reply. Daernan jumped from 2 to a whoopin' 3 thanks to my vote (yay, go him). ;) I was also the 11th vote for Belhandra, IIRC. And the first for Baramine. I forgot the other numbers.

Yelllows dragons are twofold. The Dragon Magazine one and the 2e Monster Manual one. They are sometimes confused, but are nonetheless different. The MM desert-dwelling yellow dragon has been converted, but its salt-breathing coastal cousin hasn't -- and interest less people, because it's far less well-known.

ah, ok then, nevermind. :)
