Celestial Lords

Why do you want them associated with a specific race or creature? I thought you wanted counterparts for the Archdevils and Demon Princes (you said between powerful Celestials and deities), which are all non-raced unique beings.

actually, i never said they had to be a specific race. you'll note that yeenoghu is the lord of gnolls, baphomet is the lord of minotaurs, juiblex is the lord of slimes, and kostchtchie is the lord of frost giants. but then, or course, you have orcus, graz'zt, and most of the archdevils, who don't hold to one specific race or another. i wanted to hold true to that on the Good side, and i think the selections here do that well, including yours.

also folks, i've decided to eliminate the one lord per person limit. you can now go back and post as many ideas as you want; either edit your original post, or add some on in a new post. i will only use at most three entries per person for the poll, though (start it tomorrow afternoon if i can, late entries will be accepted if i can work them in). i will not use anything that isn't an original creation by you, and you must have a NAME that you invented for each lord. (if you want to base it on something that someone else came up with, just alter the name enough that no one can get sued for it).

I would like it too that there was some kind of symmetry.

Anyway, I think that those demon lords are supposed to be "patron" of a race which does not have a patron deity (well, I don't necessarily like the fact that in D&D EVERY race MUST have a patron deity...). So Gnolls worship Yeenoghu as it was a racial god, although he is less. But there are already an Elven god, a Dwarven god and so on - actually there is a whole pantheon for each main race - so that's why I was at first perplexed of writing a Celestial Lord of Elven Pantheon. Well, there could be, it's just I don't feel it very necessary.

But anyway, it's fine for me if it's fine for the others.

well, these guys would be a bit different than the fiend lords. for one thing, none of them are going to have their own layer of a plane to rule! these guys are more like champions, or saints. they're powerful because they're just SO good. maybe an elven lord would even serve correlon, you know? elves would revere him more than worship him. i dunno, there's a way it would work.
