Browsing through Complete Warrior, I noticed that if you play a Changeling character you can easily qualify for the Warshaper PRC, as the prerequisites for the class are +4 bab and Shapechanger subtype.
For a 5 level class with 3/4 bab and d8 HP, it still is not a bad class for
a combat character as you get:
1) The abillity to always be armed as you can always form claws or a bite attack when you are not in base form,(which as a changeling is always)
2)+4 to Str and Con
3) +5 Reach
4) Fast Healing 2, and the abillity to heal 10 points of damage with a concentration check as a full round action. (DC = Damage dealt)
5) Immunity to Critical Hits and Stunning.
Not a bad bag of tricks for any character, and a nice compliment of abillities for a Psychic Warrior .
I am very tempted to make a Barbarian 2/Fighter 2/ Warshaper 3/ Frenzied Berserker 2 to beat the Thanksgiving stuffing out of my group. Nothing like a +14 bonus to Str score w/out Magic and being able to ignore the subdual damage of the Frenzied Berserker to make me thankful.
