Do anybody know if any 4e book contains stats for Chaos Beast?

If not, do you guys think if will we likely to see Chaos Beast in 4e?

I have 3 Large Chaos Beast minis but will not likely to use them in current 3.5e campaign (will likely to end within few month). And wondering if I can have a chance to use them in 4e.

Don't they look similar to a Gibbering Mouther? I usually sub the mini for any kind of ooze. Maybe it could also be used for a slaadspawn swarm or something similar.

I'm not aware of a 4e conversion, yet. Their abilities might be a bit difficult to model in 4e. Being temporarily dissolved isn't quite the same as what they did in 3e.

Yeah they look like some kind of gray ooze with a lot of eyes and tooth. There is no large gibbering beast in 4e MM, though.

I guess I can use those minis as proxies for large ooze or something.

Many of the monsters' special attacks are completely changed in 4e. Beholder's central eye does not create antimagic corn anymore. So designers will find new way to give unique special attack to chaos beast, if they dare to use that monster again.

But the concept of "pure chaos" is gone. Elemental Chaos is filled by various elemental-based monsters. So I am afraid that there is no room for Chaos Beast in the 4e multiverse.

I can just see the magic power plants springing up to harness the reaction between antimagic corn and magic beans. Limitless clean magic power!

Damnit; that was my favourite type of corn.

Cheers,
Roger

Ah... It happens when a sleepy man writes sentences in foreign language.

But at least, that gave me an idea for a new beholderkin variation. Shooting explosive antimagic popcorns from it's central eye....

Once upon a time when I and some friends were playing Basic D&D, a DM found that a pc was carrying tons of HEALING POISONs. The DM let the player roll poison saving throw every time his PC consumed one.
