Character Concept - half-celestial/half-fiend, but not...

I don't have a problem with the distinction- I just think the names are confusing...as Particle_Man's post would indicate.

*looks around quickly* *whispers to countrymen* Hey, dudes! They've found us out!

To put this into context, I'm from New Zealand...

When I lived in the UK the English would use Scotland and Wales in the joke. "Scotland, where men are men and sheep are nervous!"

But I have heard that with NZ in the phrase too.

Thanks

The retort of course being: "Unlike the situation in England, in Scotland only the female sheep are nervous."

:D

Both the Half-Celestial and Half-Fiendish templates are restricted to creatures with an intelligence of 4 or more*. It's the dragons who have no standards and will shag anything that moves.

(* Of course, feel free to ignore this in your own campaign if you like the idea.)

I always heard it was Greece...

How did we get off on this tangent anyway? We should MOOOve away from it ;)

(Yeah, I know, bad joke)

How about a Sorcerer / Human Paragon with all the Heritage feats from PHB-II? (Fiendish and Celestial both.)

I'd also work with the DM to customize your spell list -- you could possibly make a custom list that draws from the signature spell-like abilities of demons, devils, angels & archons instead of just using the Sorc/Wiz list. (Basically lose some Sorc/Wiz spells and gain access to some Cleric spells.)

Cheers, -- N

Good one!

You've heard the one where the US southerner says, "I was 14 before I knew 'Damn Yankees' was two words."

I changed it to "I was in the UK 2 years before I knew 'Scottish Git' was two words." Always got laughs from the English, Welsh and Irish within earshot.

Thanks,
Rich
