Character concept help: making a druid

Augury, speak with dead etc should be, in my opinion, the the druid spell list. In 5e, they have a strong fey or elemental theme, but the animistic/spirit theme is not exploited yet.
Druids were reputed to have a number of supernatural powers, chief among them shape-shifting (though that including transforming others by just tapping them with a wand), and precognition. Any sort of divination would be very appropriate.

'Necromancy' must've seemed inappropriate for a nature priest when they were passing out spheres in 2e, but the Celts reputedly collected severed heads. I think I remember one story where a Druid had a collection of them that he'd converse with, they might've been called 'vanthi' or something like that...

The only time I've played with the ''spheres'' of powers for clerics was with a mod for Baldur's Gate 1-2 so I'm not all that familiar with their use. But from what I remember, it would be nice to have the option to have druid with access or mastery over one of those spheres, a little like 5e does with Cleric's domains, but for druids.

I see Clerics, Druids and Warlock as facets of the same meta-theme, getting powers from ''others'' and, in the case of the cleric and warlock, they gain a access to a specific extra spells list that represent this allegiance/reverence. Druids, on the other side, are considered as worshipers of nature as a whole without the ability to chose one specific sub-sphere of powers like Fey, a specific Element or Spirits.

With the current list of spells, its really hard to create a druid with a specific theme (sorcerers have the same difficulty).
