History: Kith was born into a wealthy merchant/enchanter family. He was sent to Academy to carry on the tradition. He has failed and become quite the embarrassment to his family. He generally skips classes and tries to get out of any and all responsibility. The only thing keeping him enrolled is the family money and his ability to talk himself out of the worst trouble. He only stays here because he knows expulsion from Dell will land him somewhere worse (like Home). Luckily Kith has some phenomenal natural talents, although he could probably be a real power someday that’s not his goal, he is happy where he is. Rumors of impending expulsion aside he will continue to have fun, regardless the cost.

Description: Pale alabaster skin, Long black hair, green eyes, usually clothed in dark colors of luxurious cloth, always accompanied by Turin. Ht: 5’ 4” Wt: 124.
He is not really a pretty boy, but his attitude garners him a lot of attention (not all of it positive). He has an easy way with words, and can usually find others weak spots, from there they are putty in his hands…

**Attach. This ability reads poorly, I think they meant to have it mean the Ferret had "grappled" following a successful bite, without an AoO or a resisted grapple test. Thus leading to them being "Attached" and able to apply damage every round until knocked loose. The victim would be considered unhindered, and the Ferret would lose their Dex to AC for purposes of being knocked free. I qouted it exactly in the ferret stats.

I see you decided on the Rogue/Sorcerer route. It makes a good alternative bard.

(You forgot sling, sickle, morningstar, halfspear and shortspear as weapons with which you're proficient. You get all simple from Sorcerer as well as the big list from Rogue. I'm sure those aren't conceptual weapons but I wanted to make sure you didn't miss them.)

I don't get it either. Personally I spend all I can before the bell sounds. There're things to buy on Drell, but it's my experience it's better to buy stuff before game starts. I'm sure they have reasons. Maybe they're planning on building magic items in downtime?

Yeah, that's what I hope... Right now, I took a look at magic items and, the list being limited to object with a value of less than 1550 gp, I thought it would be better to wait a bit to be able to create better magic items myself...

If you have another spot open, I would be interested in throwing my hat into this one, as well. I was interested in playing a psionic char for OSM, but wanted to play a rogue of some sort.

Also, a question - I would, if you would allow it, take a level of Aristocrat, having it as my first level. She would be the daughter of some minor noble, or something suitable - not enough to make a huge social impact, but just so that she is (supposed to be) a member of an "upper class". I would gladly have the Hit Points for that be reduced to d6 or d4, as you see fit, without any bonuses or whatever for reduced hit points.

It fits in with a character concept I'm interested in trying out. If you don't allow it, that works fine, as well.

All of this is crowned by a tight braid of golden hair that reaches her lower back.

History: Born the daughter of an elven warrior/sorceror hero, much responsibility was expected from Arana. Unlike some human communities, where most such duties would only fall upon the sons, Arana’s clan had looked to her to help rebuild the greatness of the Elven Golden Age. Her mother had died at child birth, leaving her education in the hands of her father. He was no little different from the others and instructed her from an early age in politics, the magical arts and swordplay. Unfortunate for him (and mayhaps, his clan), Arana was far more interested in the tales of distant lands, wandering aimlessly in the forest and her music. The only lessons she learned were those which allowed her to further her own pursuits.

While these pursuits were considered noble and acceptable for any common elf, much more was expected from Arana, the only child of a great hero. The more her father pushed her in proper studies, the more she escaped into other interests. Soon, this led to constant arguments and bitter disappointment on her father’s part. Eventually, she was saved from this dreaded existence when her father remarried and his new wife bore him twin sons. Seeing his chance to instill proper values into the two boys, Arana’s father poured his energies into raising his sons in a fitting manner from the very start. To remove any negative influence that Arana may have introduced, he sent her off to the Academy of Drell to pursue her own interests.

Background

Ellie was born in a small town in the empire, the second child of a merchant family. Born and raised to work in the family store, she used her natural people skills to help sales at the store, but when Ellie turned 16 she began to notice she that if she concentrated she could make people be more receptive to what she wanted, she used her newfound skills to help with more difficult customers and to help solve local disputes. However not long after her 18th birthday, someone caught on and realized that it wasn't just her mediating skills that were solving these disputes, but some sort of power. After heated shouting matches with some of the townsfolk, ellie's parents decided it would be better if they sent her someplace where she could learn about her talents, and hopefully teach her some restraint in using them.

Having just arrived at the academy, ellie is not quite sure what to expect here. She hopes to find a way to harness her talents and help others at the same time.

Personal Description

Ellie is 5' 5" with shoulder length auburn hair, fair complexion, and green eyes. She is of slight build and tends to wear either bright cheerful colors when with other people, or plain scholar's robes when alone or studying.

Ellie is a very curious and outgoing person and dislikes to seeing others fight, and will attempt to resolve conflicts first by talking them out, or attempting to charm someone. Physical Combat is a last resort against other people. (unless they're trying to kill her, in which case she'll charm them first and then fight)
