Andean Abyss is a game that likely will appeal to non-wargamers: it's a game about the insurgency in Colombia. Four players, although AIs allow you to play with fewer players (you can play solo!), each with their own victory conditions and slightly different mechanics. It's a really impressive game which I need to play more of. It's also the first of a series of games - three more have been announced, A Distant Plain (Afghanistan), Cuba Libre (Cuba) and Fire In the Lake (Vietnam) - with similar mechanics.

Cheers!

I completely understand it happens, but as a Colombian citizen I have to point out that the name of the country is spelled "Colombia" and not with a "u". Luckily, the country is getting safer even if the spelling remains tricky. :)
