D&D (2024) Check Out The New Dungeon Master's Guide's Greyhawk Map

Greyhawk is the 'sample setting' provided in the 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide, and it is illustrated with a massive hex map by the awesome Mike Schley.

What is interesting to note is that the map has at least 7 named Dungeon locations (as well as a number of unnamed "Ruins" for a DM tondecelop), including 3 already published for 5E, and 4...that have not been:

  • White Plume Mountain
  • Tomb of Horrors
  • Loat Caverns of Taojcanth
  • Temple of Elemental Evil
  • Maure Castle
  • Ghost Tower of Iverness

Aaaand...

- Castle Greyhawk, seperate from the Free City by a bit.

Wonder what if any role those will play on the DMG.
Barrier Peaks are there too, in case anyone wants to make an Expedition to them.

Do my Greyhawk folk know how big the map shown is in miles high by miles wide?
See below:

Hey all,

In case anyone is adventuring in Greyhawk, I put together a spreadsheet showing the size (in square miles and km) of each country and geographical feature (mountain range, forests, etc) of the Flanaess. I then added in the population values from the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer and calculated the population density of each country.

If you are interested in the excel sheet it can be found on Canonfire.com under the Downloads and Maps section.
