Would people please check this character? He's the first I've ever done, I started to do it with PC Gen but ran into problems of mods not being applied so I had to start doing it by hand. Any suggestions would also be appreciated. Thanks!

Only a couple of corrections...

Your Initiative should only be +4. Your Dex mod is only +4.

As an Elf, you don't get automatic proficiency with the handaxe. You get Martial Weapon Proficiency with all bows, and with either the Longsword or Rapier.

Your AC should be 18. 10(base) + 4(Dex) + 3(Wis) + 1 (Monk's AC bonus)

Also, as a 6th level character, you have 13,000 gp. Use them to buy some magic items.

Your Max Hit Points should be 48, not 35.

Looks good, though. Especially since it's your first character, ever. :)

[Edit] Your ability mods for your skills are off. The ranks are fine, but the Mods, and therefore the Totals, aren't correct.

The skills are noted as such because they include synergy bonuses. Jump gets +2 from because I have more then 5 in Tumble
(and more then 5 in Jump gives a +2 in tumble) Balance is also given a +2 thanx to Tumble (I thought those where off to so I had checked them with the PHB (as I did the rest of the character, but I still knew I would have mistakes.)

Magic Items will not be allowed at the start in the campiagn I will be playing, and the DM is house ruling the gold, not sure how much we will get yet..

Max HP is 1D8 rolled (with an automatic 8 at level 1). So the 35 is correct (If I had rooled all 8's I would have had a 48, God those would be nice dice!)

Ah. I didn't check synergy bonuses. Oh, well. Ignore that part.

And I took "Max HP" to mean 'the most HPs that you could have at 6th level'.

You didn't calculate Weapon Finesse to hit?

Makes more than a +5 then ...

Advice: Forget that 13 Str. Take con. Hitpoints are more important than the puny +1 to damage. Your damage will increase fast with monk levels and you hit with dex.

No. Each time you take it, it only applies to 1 weapon. In this case, it only applies to your unarmed attacks.
