Chicago ENWorldians--what are you doing Sunday, 3/30 night?

I am in the Windy City--named after me when one night I was---nevermind from 03/28-04/01 AM and I may be able to break from family stuff Sunday PM--anyone want to hang out? I will be on LSD downtown and will have no transportation, if interested post and we can go oflist if this seems like fun, and my mom lets me* .




*Yes I am 35, but flying in for Grandpa's 95th B-day (with my kids, so I need a babysitter) so he and family come first, but maybe Sunday night they will let me out for a few hours!

The group i'm in plays Sundays 6-10 in Aurora, about 1/2 north of Chicago. We just started a Spycraft serial. Actually it starts that Sunday but yesterday we had a short prelude (other player absences). I'm pretty sure we could fit you in if you wanna come. I'll ask the GC to make sure though.....

If you wanna party, see chicago theatre or see the sites, well Sundays are pretty slow. Everything closes early.

EDIT: Actually, if you wanna get picked up a little early we could run up to Games Plus before the game, too. Dunno if you've been there but it's one of the best stores in the mid west. Aslo gives me an excuse to get up there and spend money It's a long drive north to, IIRC, Batavia though.

I game with Roland, and its my house that we play at in Batavia. You'd be more than welcome to put in a guest appearance in our Spycraft game. If you can't find a babysitter, feel free to bring them along (how many? how old?)... We've got a 3 year old and a (almost) 5 year old who sometimes help us play (otherwise, we've got plenty of toys, games and kid's movies).

And, should you need it, we could probably even find a spot for you to crash over-night (we've got a futon and a couch in the living room).

Roland... If you take the tollways, Games Plus is normally about an hour's drive to my house, depending on traffic. I made it to the last Game Day in under an hour.

Let me check with Mommy and I will get back to ya all...my kids are 2 and 3 but since my family is in town I am sure they will want some time with them. Let me talk to Mummsy on Tuesday and see what I can come up with time wise .

I work weekends, so not much I can do on Sunday.

Do make an attempt to visit Games Plus if you get the chance. Although they are in Mt. Prospect there is a train stop right across the street from them if you can manage the train schedule. If you love minis I promise you won't regret the trip.

I've got a band practice until 8:30 (concert in three weeks, so no playing hooky). After that, well, the only places I really hang out with are *that way*. Sidetrack has showtunes night on Sunday and always has alcoholic slushies.
