I think it's more fun to use something that's not published. And, really, for a five-hour one-shot, the dungeon wouldn't even be that long.

But, if you decide to go the Rappan Athuk route, I have all three if you need to borrow the last one. (See how I not-so-subtely have committed you into doing this, Trev?)

Your subtlety is unparalleled, Barendd. I agree with the non-published thing being a bit more fun. But who indeed would be willing to be the co-conpirator and DM... perhaps YOU! I work well with others on dungeon design, but I'm afraid of going solo for something this cool and important. Two heads are better than one when planning and plotting, I say.

I'll check the schedule for open dates, I think the 26th is Origins, and I believe the 19th is a tourney, leaving the 5th and the 12th.

I can't run anything at the next gameday. I've already run my "every other year I run one slot" event this year.

Well if you just want to be a writer and conspirator, that's fine by me... we can sucker someone into running a slot like this, a horrific masterpiece conceived by an evil duo such as ourselves...

And thalmin, the chainmail bikini is IN this year!! Follow my simple dietary plan and you'll be in great shape by June!

The Fatkin's Diet:
Breakfast: Cold pizza, toppings of your choice
2nd Breakfast: Half-eaten Gargantuan from Jimmy John's leftover from a week ago.
Lunch: 3 1/4pounders and two supersize fries
Dinner: Salad, Thick milkshake, two steaks, fried cheese, cinnamon crumb cake.

And as for really useful post content, I think that this tournament idea is absolutely marvelous, barendd and I will be in contact with each other, and first pick of some door prizes sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me for the winning party.

I suggest the 5th. If something out of control comes up in the next month or so, it leaves you the chance to push it back to the 12th.

Unfortunately, the 19th and 26th of June, being the two Saturdays in June that I'm not working, would be the best for me. Take pity on someone who hasn't been able to attend for over a year, due to work schedule conflicts...

I've got no problem competing with Orgins, but we may lose people to it anyway. Don't any of your coworkers owe you favors? If they don't now, we can have some sort of event where you come to their rescue from a masked assailant (me). Naturally they will be in debt to you forever and be like, "oh pbartender, you're so strong... how can i ever repay you!?" Of course the obvious answer is working for you during Gameday!
