I believe there's one slot one spot left open and two slot two spots left open now. I believe that I will claim a table for each slot but I haven't decided what I will do with them. I will try to figure that out before the weekend has gone. That leaves just the one slot two spot left, if I am not mistaken...

Hello Buzz,

Game 6: The Voyage of the Damned
(Ravenloft campaign & D&D 3.0 ed core ruleset)
Summary- It is a cold, dark and rainy night in the coastal town of Davenport. A mysterious fog has slowly crept into town, blanketing the area in a creepy fashion and bringing with it, a foreboding sense of sadness and despair. At the Black Raven Inn, a group of hardened adventurers gather at a table to drink and reflect on better times. Down on their luck from a depressed economy and lack of work, they yearn for an opportunity to escape their current state of misfortune and make some decent gold away along the way. Suddenly, they notice a young lad posting a sign up on the wall at the far end of the bar. In ever widening anticipation, the adventurers slowly walk over to read the sign. As if in answer to their collective prayers, they read the sign and feel a sudden rush of excitement as they finally have found that one chance they all have been waiting for.

"First ye served! To all that see this fine offer, let it be known the ye famous and generous Captain Van Der Decken offers the grand sum of 1,000 gold coins to each adventurer to function as Men-At-Arms in defense of ye fabled S.S. Leviathan on its voyage to the New Frontiers! May thy dedicated and honourable among thee please bring thine poster as proof of thine sincerity to the port office in the Harbour of the fine town of Davenport!
Signed,
Most admirably.
McGruder, ship steward"

Hello Buzz,

My count may be off but, I think Mark may have claimed Game 6 on the Morning Slot (and Game 5 in the Evening Slot) in the post before yours. :\

Game 6 on the Eveining Slot is still open or your could ask one of the Morning GMs to swap with you. Then again, Buzz could simply open a Game 7 in the Morning slot. Either way, we'll find a good home for your event. :D

Thanks for stepping up to the plate!

P.S. Buzz may be incommunicado til Monday

The big final move to my new house happens over this coming weekend, and the cable modem doesn't get installed until Monday morning, so... I may be relatively incommunicado Fri-Sun. Keep the thread alive!

We have the tables, but we may have more games than we can fill. On the other hand, more games might attract more players. Whaddya think?

Hey Buzz,
See if you can fit me into the morning slot first. Otherwise, I will GM my game in the evening slot then if the morning is filled up. Just make sure we actually have enough tables and floor space to accomodate everyone in either slot.

Hmm. Right you are, Gorak.

We can easily accomodate 6 games at the (roughly) 4x8 tables, and have the 2 6x10 "miniatures" tall tables.
I guess a 7th game would be pushing things, unless someone wanted one of the big tables.

Woo! I'm back, folks.

Gorak, looks like Mark claimed the morning slot first, so I have to give it to him. I hope it's not a problem to run your Ravenloft game in the afternoon slot.

I'll update the main post with the games a litte later today. I'm still finishing up the move.

Since we seem to be filling up with events, I'm going to go ahead and say that May 1st (or that weekend at least) is the deadline for event submissions. It seems a safe bet. :) Then we can start recruiting players.

Hey Buzz,

Are you still in Aurora? It looks like I too will be moving before the gameday so, I was wondering if I could leave the prize support with you. I do not want it to get lost in the shuffle. Let me know.

Okie doke. Here's the shake down regarding the two slots/tables I'll be handling during the next gameday...

Slot One
Game 4: Group Combat Demo/Playtest (On a Minis Table)
(D&D/d20)
Summary - I'll be putting some new rules for Group Combat through their paces with the help of a select group of participants.

GM - Mark
Seats - Possibly 4 total (EMAIL ONLY, please)
1. thalmin
2. Painfully
3. Needs one additional player, requests by EMAIL ONLY, please
4. (Perhaps one more player, requests by EMAIL ONLY, please)

And since one of my regular Sunday groups won't meet that weekend...

Slot Two
Game 4: The Reluctant Heroes of Datheham
(D&D/d20)
Summary - The continuing adventures of those wonderful adventurers (with, perhaps, a few special guests!)

Nth-level characters (provided, if necessary)
GM - Mark
Seats - 5 (possibly more)
1. ejja_1
2. William Ronald
3. s100bus
4. Michael
5. Deron
6. (I might allow additional player, requests by EMAIL ONLY, please)

Thanks!

Hey, Buzz. Since Mark wants a minis table for the morning slot, that leaves a 4x8 open. Don't know if we can fill that many tables, but we have room for the games.
