All of us who wish we were there will want to hear how it went.

It was, as expected, fantastic!.

The gaming tables were full. Everyone seemed to be having a great time.

I'd like to thank our wonderful hosts at Games Plus, our fantastic organizer Mark, my excellent slot 1 Deadlands marshall Mark Plemmons, and my amazing slot 2 players in CoC. Unfortunately, no one went insane or died in CoC, but we can't have everything! :D

Eric Noah brought his bag of goodies. And Mark Plemmons brought a box of goodies from Kenzer & Co. So every table had two lucky winners who got to pick something. (And, hey, at my table, a roll of '6' almost made me a winner. Good thing the players weren't rolling that poorly in the game.) Plus, every one at the gameday got a Gnome Titan mini from Mark/Kenzer. Woo-hoo!

I certainly enjoyed running a game (especially with such good players), but man I wish I could have played in both slots. Just greedy, I guess. ;) omokage - did anyone ever find out all of your character's professions?

One last question--did anyone finish the "cat treats?" :D I promise never to make them again--unless you want them at the next gameday.

No, BN, there are still some "cat treats" left. Should I save them for you for next time? :D
Speaking of which, is it too early to start planning the next Game Day? Mark and I were thinking late October.

Last gameday was great.... THIS WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!

I have not had this much fun in I don't know how long. I had an awesome time running a great scenario during the first slot--Of Sound Mind by our very own Piratecat. That mod's as fun to run as it is to read. Oh the looks on the players faces when... oh never mind... :D

Then, to complete my day with P-kitty, I played in his Feng Shui game. GOOD GOD! It was marvelous. Any gaming company should get Kevin to GM a game for them to sell, because the minute we had a break in the nearly non-stop action of that game, I ran into the store and bought Feng Shui and an adventure sourcebook.

Just about every game table was packed, everyone seemed to be smiling, and wow.... just WOW!

And as for the cat treats....Barendd Nobeard, that's just classic. Kinda gross, but classic. :D

And a few hyper, very quickly typed thank yous:

*Mark, thanks for organizing this whole thing here.
*Curt, you are incredible for letting all of us invade your store--I *hope we bought lots of stuff.
*Kevin, a great module to run, and a brand new game introduced to me--for both I can't thank you enough.
*The other Mark--it's very generous of you to bring all of the free goodies! And do another Deadlands game... that sounded like fun!
*Eric, without you, we'd never be here, and you even brought us goodies too!
*To all of my players in Of Sound Mind for putting up with my developing DMing skills
*To EVERYONE who came to Gameday and made it so great!!

Trev, you're welcome. My thanks, too, to all involved. Now if I could just my act together so I could actually play in both time slots...

Barendd, I'm sure no one figured out all of my professions . . . everyone was pretty stuck on drug-dealer, but never made it to kidnapper or pornographer ;)
I think I was the only one to eat your poopie treats, too.

I'll send out thanks to you Barendd, Mark for the organization and the fun beginning to a game, thalmin for the space, Eric and Mark Plemmons for the goodies :) and thanks to Piratecat especially for being such a great guy in general ;) :D

Looking forward to the next gathering.

For those who didn't attend, you missed a great time. Most of us played from 10am to about 9pm with about an hour break for lunch. All the games listed on page one seemed to go very smoothly and were virtually filled. There was also one extra (pickup) game in slot 2, (was it Spycraft?) with I believe 7 players. I think we had 45 people attending, nearly everyone for both slots.
A special note to the three trouble-makers who brought the Krispy Kremes, the Oberweis chocolate milk, and the "Kitty Litter" treats: you really destroyed my diet. (thanks)

ACK! How could I forget the Krispy Kremes.... mmmm... doughnuts... soooo tasty :)

I agree with Curt... those didn't help my girlish figure at all. Well actually they did...since I'm a guy and I'm trying to GET RID OF my girlish manboobs...

RAT BASTARDS, BRINGING FATTENING FOOD......why I oughtta...LOL :)
