Oh joy is me. . .

The first new Malhavoc Press 'eBook' is out, and normally I would rush out to buy it - The Children of the Rune. I'm running an AU campaign for freaking sake, and I WILL NOT be picking this DRM'd version up. That means I am waiting until August in order to get the paper format. Sheesh, this is going to kill me, but I am standing fast.

I'm going to go ahead and move this to our Books Forum, and I also have a request:

Any replies to this thread please keep it directly related to the book. We already have no less than five DRM threads going here (and before yesterday we used to have about eleven!)


Has anyone decided to purchase it? Is it good fiction, and does it look helpful for people wanting to get more "Diamond Throne" flavor?

I'm going to wait for the print version too. For fiction and other long works I prefer to read a book than look at a computer screen. I'm eagerly awaiting reading it, but I can wait a few more months for a format that I can read while sitting in my comphy chair and that won't hurt my eyes.
