Chocolate and _____?

By default in the U.S., it’s chocolate but then you can get other flavors.

You'd really expect the default Fudge flavour to be Caramel - you know, since thats what it is!! But yeah a whole lot of different flavours can be added.

Why would the US default to chocolate?

Why would the US default to chocolate?

Because we melt chocolate into it? I dunno, but that’s just the standard. If you want vanilla or caramel fudge, that has to be specified.

I guess the answer is that the other ingredients are not the star in our country, they are a delivery mechanism for chocolate.
