I'm a big fan of nuts and chocolate. Peanuts are my favorite, but pecans, hazelnuts, and almonds are a close runner up. You really can't go wrong with any nuts out there. Out of the options listed I also picked the buttery perfection that is toffee.
My additions to this list would be pastries in general. Cakes and cookies being the stand outs. Flour, butter, sugar cooked together with the magic that is the Maillard reaction is the perfect thing to pair with chocolate. If you think the cookie part of the chocolate chip cookie is just a vehicle for the chocolate, you aren't eating a good chocolate chip cookie.
Then there's pastry cream, rich creamy pastry cream. One of my all-time favorite deserts is the Boston cream pie.
Not much of a fan of fruits with chocolate personally, and while I like mint and chocolate, I often wish the desert was just mint without the chocolate itself. Making homemade just mint ice cream is the reason I even bother making homemade ice cream.
