As long as you lend me a hand, I don't have to worry bout that!Hey, hey, just cause we're talking about Vecna, you don't need to lose your head.
Excellent point. Definitely putting Ravenloft on the "very likely to be in" list.Ravenloft is a potential candidate, since Vecna once was darklord of a domain there (is Kas still stuck in Ravenloft?).
Well, what that has meant for the past decade is "we're throwing in references to lots of old stuff, bit ensuring you can file all the serial numbers off for a DIY world." Doubt that's changing."The core setting is the multiverse" is a great way to tell me I get to save a bunch of money for the next few years, since my campaign world is cut off from the multiverse and my players are a long way from learning that's true, to say nothing of altering the status quo.
Strixhaven, Krynn and Spelljammer characters are, at the moment, more powerful than core ones, but since everyone is going to get feats soon, I expect them to drop back toward the baseline next year.Eh. I'm open to collecting campaign settings, but they need to keep them balanced. While TSR was also guilty of this, WotC has a history of giving power creep options to campaign settings that throw off the balance, which quickly removes my desire to spend money on them.
In this case, the adventure is apparently about running around the multiverse, which my Ptolus PCs won't be doing. Which is fine. I've got plenty of other stuff for them to do.Well, what that has meant for the past decade is "we're throwing in references to lots of old stuff, bit ensuring you can file all the serial numbers off for a DIY world." Theros & Ravenloft also offer Lecel 1 Feats (with funny names).Strixhaven, Krynn and Spelljammer characters are, at the moment, more powerful than core ones, but since everyone is going to get feats soon, I expect them to drop back toward the baseline next year.
Yeah, fair. It will be curious to see what this looks like, and how it can be repurposed. In this case, the adventure is apparently about running around the multiverse, which my Ptolus PCs won't be doing. Which is fine. I've got plenty of other stuff for them to do.
Hand-headed cultists for every campaign!Yeah, fair. It will be curious to see what this looks like, and how it can be repurposed.
