This guy was Superman at the time. Like the comic-book hero he didn't give up and I'm sure was an inspiration to those with similar injuries.

I've never been a huge fan of the Superhero/Comic book genre of movies but Superman as always special for me (barring the awful ones late in the series of course).

I wonder, have Superman I & II been released on DVD. They're definintely going on my wish list. I never saw THe Remains of the Day, which he was in as well.

I belive all the Superman movies are out on DVD in a boxed set, not sure if you can get them indivilally.

You know, most of the time my reaction to the passing of a celebrity is "Gee, that's too bad." Heartfelt, but no true emotional impact.
