"I think a horse with such extra training and stamina would be able to carry me. Though i'm not sure since i've never rode on one before. All i know is that your common riding horse, light horse if you will, has some difficulty carrying myself witout putting extra effort into it."

"That makes sense. I'm sure your svelte magician friend would be no burden for a normal light horse either. That just leaves the Paladin, Eskon, is it? I'll tell you what. I'm going to go ask a merchant friend of mine if he can lend you the money for the one warhorse. It's a stretch, I know, but I'm sure you guys are good for it--I mean, you have a Paladin on your team, and a knight of Hyrag always pays his debts, this I know. If we can get you a light warhorse, Findoram, and if Eskon can get a horse that can carry him at full speed, then you should be good to go. The sooner you get there, of course, the sooner my daughter and I can be healed, so time is of the essence on my front as well."

"I am a master crafter of arms and armor, i could repay your merchant friend by providing services as a smith. If he need any arms or armor crafted, i can craft them for him free, so it will only cost him the raw materials."

That would be helpful and I can sell my pony and mule to help Eskon cover the cost of a horse as well. It is not much I am afraid.

*Elaice nods.*

"I'll go ask him--you guys figure out about Eskon," she heads to the door, "Could somebody get the door?"

*A little while later, she heads in from the back.*

"Good news! He doesn't know how much you need and he's very busy, so he agreed to leave a sack of gold on his kitchen table, and he trusts that since you've a paladin with you, you will only take exactly as much as you need. When we're ready, I can bring you to his house to collect the loan, and then you can buy whatever horses you require."

"Thanks, Miss!" Bret says gratefully, "I think now their chances of catching the killer are much better!"

"That is great news! What be the name of this great friend of yours if i may ask? Amyway, lead on to his manor so we can buy them horses we require."

(OOC: You have three light to start out with. You'll need a light war for you, and another light war for Eskon. In fact, Eskon is so heavy that he needs someone else to take care of his 40 pounds of armour for him so his light warhorse will be okay (2 pounds under without the armour))

"Dalarin Thistle is his name. Looks like you need two light warhorses, so you'll want to borrow 300 gold, and less if you can pay any of that yourself. Are you ready to go? Thank you, please follow. Bret should come too and point out the horses for you in the stables."

*Elaice nods and gestures to the nexus of which she spoke, a slender wand-like item that rests on the table where she was sitting.*

"Before we go, I will lend you the use of this nexus to help find the remedy. It shall glow when you are heading directly towards the remedy."

*She waits for someone to take the nexus and open the door and then leads them out into the city, taking a few turns and walking down streets until they come to the wealthy-looking home of Dalarin Thistle.*

"Here we are. The door is unlocked for you, and the coins are on the table just inside. Take what you need to buy the two light warhorses and then you can be on your way."
