Eternity looks around the room a little nervous with so many outlandish people gathered in one place. Her eyes pass over Japheth, but he looks away. As Will joins her at the bar, Eternity listens to his tale her eyes looking over his odd manner of dress.

"Greetings Eternity, Willhelm. I am Vanitri. Come, join us for a drink and some chatter. What have you both been up to of late?" Says a somewhat colorfully dressed man.

"...aye, the last was the hardest of battles! Four brigands and a sorceress pitted against the four of us, but Hulgyr with valor unrivaled drew steel an-" he spies Eternity's gaze. "Is something amiss, milady?"

Eternity nods to both Willhelm and Vanitri. "Just listening to your fascinating story, I seek such wonderous experiences. The Path requires that we explore the world and your tale is certainly very intriguing. I myself have only just arrived in Orussus, having traveled from my native lands far to the west." replies the young woman. Her head moves in a slow nods as she speaks with a strange accent. Her sentences stop in all the wrong places and some of the letters are pronounced with a heavy accent.

"Then we are not so different, you and I!" smiled Will, unknowing of her true nature. "I too seek adventures and quests, though for reasons that differ from your own. Glory for House and Goddess is my hope in the face of hardship. This I hope to achieve through force of arms and force of faith, given by Clan and Faith respective. I can break flesh or mend it, as the Fire Sister wills.

What of you, milady? You do not appear to be mighty of thew nor do you carry the crest of a diety. Certainly, your journey to the Inn was a perilous one if not a long one by your way of speech. How do you make do in the harshness of this world with so little sign of power?"

A light comes to Wilhelm's eyes of jade. "Are you like my comrade, Eroin, skilled in the arts unarmed? Her hands are as hammers and her body is like the wind. Have you the same talents?"

“No, I am not skilled in any such arts, at least not any longer. No, I have transcended and journey on a new path. The Inner Path has lead me to this point and I continue to seek enlightenment through experience. My skills lie in the mental arts. One day I hope to heal, like you, though neither Verdante nor Ayratha guides my hand. My journey was long, but the merchant routes to this city are well enough traveled that I did not face any danger on the way here.” replies Eternity, her strange accented speech making her sentences sometimes difficult to follow.

"Life is much richer when we wander, is it not?" Vanitri says. "The road ahead is always paved with mystery and excitement, even if it's only to see what's around the bend, but that's what makes life worth living, eh?"

*As the shadows deepen once again around the window, a young man with very pale skin and striking red hair walks into the room with a strike of lightning punctuating his entrance. Some know him already as Zaeryl, but to others, he is simply an anonymous figure with an eerie unnatural aura around him that gives most in the room the chills.*

"We are Zaeryl Alant," he speaks grudgingly and quietly, and he is about to sit in the dark corner again when something catches his attention, as he turns to glance at Eternity, "So, the mortals seek to emulate our power through some sort of imitation. How very cute."

*Then he turns to seat himself in the corner.*

Sigh...

Michael rolls his eyes at Zaeryl.

"If we took up a large enough collection, d'you think we could bribe Joe to let us dunk him in the horse trough? We could even refill it before the horses start drinking again..."

Will suppresses the chill of Zaeryl's passing with some degree of success. "Strange folk indeed. Strangest I've seen, though by the Lady, I would expect to see worse yet"

When he recovers, he turns to Eternity and Vanitri "Aye! Though travel for travel's sake seems more Pyrah's domain than the Fire Sister, good may come from passing through hardship and peril"

Wilhelm takes his silver medallion out. It is engraved with a pouring crucible. "Such is Ayratha's way, so her priests say"
