The door of swings open a very young human girl walks in followed by a Katara with short black hair. Far from the look of adveturers, this pair may have just left the woods.

The Katara speaks already engaged in a conversation with the girl. "Don't worry about it, I could use a clean up too. I might help impress whoever we find"

Surprised at the all the new faces, the Katara smiles, pointing to himself "Mearran" then the girl "Laynie"

Vanitri looks at the Odd pair curiously. "Greetings you two. What brings a pair such as yourselves to the Red Dragon? I am Vanitri."

Kith considered the colorful one's words and, not waiting for the waitress to return with his cider, moved quickly across the room toward the young boy and his crowd.

"I say there Theo," said Kith, bending down and trying to get close enough the young boy could hear him over the noise of the tavern. "You have gathered a fine group of heroes here, I can tell. Still, if these monsters are sneaky like you say, perhaps my keen elvish senses would be useful?"

"You think we'll impress people if we're all wet?" the little girl questions her Katara companion, "Umm, okay."

"Hello V'nitri, Mister Kitty Cat is going to help me to find a place to learn magic!"

*She glances over at Theo.*

"Say, who's he?--He's kinda cute."

Ironwolf greets the pair of newcomers, noting that the little girl is unlikely to be an adventurer. It seems that Mearran has the matter well in hand, but Idle curiousity stirs the short man to ask. Attempting a pleasant expression, he says "Hello little lady. Are you and your friend passing through, or perhaps hiring?

Jaan Saresaar, male human servant of the Greenman

... Theo nods, big blue eyes open wide. He examines Jaan's holy symbol carefully.
"A-are you a paladin?" he asks, obviously impressed with what he sees.

Jaan cocks his head for a moment, looking uncertain.

"Ah, yes. We don't call ourselves paladins where I came from. But yes. I am a paladin."

Jaan turns is attention to the others.

"Welmet everyone. I am Jaan Saresaar, servant of the Greenman. As Theo has pointed out, I am a paladin."

Jaan pauses a moment to allow any of the others to re-introduce themselves if they wish to. At Kith's approach, Jaan steps aside to give the elf room. When introductions are done, and the group decided Jaan speak up again.

"Is there any reason that we shouldn't begin immediately?"

"Learn Magic huh? Well, I'm sure you'll find a good place." Vanitri says. "You know, the Freefolk teach magic to special children like you. I'm sure they'd love to meet a lovely little girl such as yourself."

No Paladin am I but a Priest of the Fire Sister, young sir. But ready to help you nontheless Wilhelm gentles his speech for the lad, carried arsenal nonwithstanding.

Theo somberly hands Wilhelm a slightly squashed brown cookie, sticky with honey and smelling of cinnamon.
"Thank you, Mistew Iwontowew."

Theo looks at Kith for a moment, then recognizes his race. "Are you a real elf?" he asks, nearly as impressed as he was with the paladin. He reaches into his packbasket without further ado and looks inside for a moment before carefully handing Kish a golden brown cinnamon-honey nut baton, still slightly warm from the oven and only a smidge bent out of shape from its journey to the Red Dragon Inn.

Theo looks relieved. Immediately he reaches carefully into his pack basket and slowly reaches out a painstakingly packed and absolutely unsquashed golden-brown cinnamon-honey-nut baton. There is a small letter "P" carved into the top of the cookie.
"An you smite monstews? Smite thew heads off?" He looks hopeful-obviously he's reached his conclusions about the existence and nature of the monsters.

OOC: Sadly, yes...today was my day to work late, thus my posting now and hastily. Stupid reality. Sorry.
