"Very well. Are any of the dragons, if they are so powerful, old enough to be known in stories and legends? If we kill any of them, we could take their hoards..."

(OOC: @Patlin--At the Academy, most students have many professors, so unless one had an internship or stayed for a graduate level degree (the latter of which adventurers pretty much never do), they probably didn't have one prof they would list as primarily having 'studied under'

That said, if Iggy does have a preexisting internship but no name for hte prof, might I suggest one of the following currently existing Mordrue profs--

Quent Galton
Byllik Namander
Jarvys Dendril
Humboldt Tyndall (Housemaster of Mordrue so probably not)

ooc: I figure Iggy, as a Loremaster, probably gives the impression of having a graduate degree, even though he probably doesn't have one. ;) We'll see how Manzanita responds.

The young woman replies.

"I believe there are people assigned to discover that very thing, but the Dragons have not given us their names or biographies. They seem to feel that knowledge is power, and deny us whatever knowledge they can. Perhaps if you encounter one of the Dragons, you can annoy it enough to get it to boast. The kobolds and lizardfolk the Dragons have been using refer to their masters as the 'great ones.'"

(OOC: It would be cool flavour if he went back and grabbed one between adventures, methinks. He is certainly accomplished enough to easily get one now.)

"That is to be expected, though there must not be so many possible choices of such age and power in the area. Nonetheless, they might be foreign dragons who have arrived with a specific goal in mind, so all options must remain open until more clues are gathered."

Jace rushes out of the Inn with the others, only to come back later. "Someone had an accident in the alchemy shop. I didn't see any injuries, just a mess." Jace scans the new arrivals and then meets eyes with Joe. "Uh . . . did I do someth- . . . another introduction? Alright then. I am Jace, Disciple of Fire and Destruction, and novice of divine magic."

Jace squeezes past the new arrivals to return to his seat. Jace slowly turns his staff in his hands.

If you need someone who can scout in a wilderness- i could be your dwarf- assuming the pay is good and i get my license to adventure soon...

The younger woman indicates that the pay is comensurate with experience.

ooc: I don't think characters below 6th level would be particularly likely to survive on this particular adventure, though I am assured more adventures are coming for characters of all levels.

Opale is playing with her snake and speak with Charlarn when the women enter. She listen to her but without looking at her, she tells. "For military forces, just cast a Confusion spell into there ranks and it will bring them one against the other, the lack of discipline will also lower there moral and will more easily be beaten. Add to that a Black Tentacle to block any progress towards the walls, and few archer hasted to take them down. If they have archers a Glitterdust might put many blind for a time, enough to take care of them, or Stinking Cloud to prevent them to do any action. If they use ladders, Grease them. If they have some officier, just give them an Hideous Laughter and they won't be able to give order. Or create an illusion of an officer that gives false order to bring more confusion. There is a lot you can do and some times, with little.

For the dragon, I'm less familiar, but at least one or two dispel magic to counter there magic will be more than usefull, as dragon are great arcanist."

Lord Baldrian takes a sip of his ale. "Dragons and armies. I think that is out of my league. If you cannot find anyone with knowledge of the divine I will gladly step in, but I fear that I cannot do much more then some healing and a blessing."

OoC: yea the explosion was just a bump for Nura's shop
