Somewhere outside the inn, Ironwolf determines there is no immediate problem, in spite of the explosion. He decides to take a walk around Orussus before returning to the inn, to see if anything else might be out of place.

While he is out, he has some armor spikes put on his full plate.

Devlin returns to the inn and his glass. "Just as I though, Joe. Much ado about nothing." The rogue notices the newcomers and turns his attention to their conversation.

Gur Chuck-Chuck with his ever-unkempt hair and completely dirty demeanor walks into Joe's. He's been absent for YEARS now, but he knows the general business.

"My name is Gur Chuck-Chuck, Giant Tracker. Yeah, trackin giants is easy business, I know. What fer em being so huge. But either way, I tracks 'um, and I don't get squashed."

Gur will walk up to Devlin with a great big smile on his face. "I remember you! We were working for some crazy old man together down in some old ruins!"

"Ah, yes, the mechanical bugs. That sure turned out sour." Devlin responds with a grin. "I trust things have been going better for you since then."

Gur steps in close to whisper, "Honestly, I have no idea. I'm not sure where I've been for the past couple years. Strange, eh?"

Realizing the noise was nothing important Maladar heads back into the Inn hoping his meal is still warm. "I should put some ants in the noisemakers pants for this", he says with a grin.

As soon he walks in he notices a small group of people standing in front of the patrons. "I wonder what this is all about", says Maladar. He settles back in at his table while listening to the group.

Planus comes back in a few minutes behind the others. "I checked around pretty carefully and didn't find any injuries to heal. Singed eyebrows, well, that seems a little weak for the blessings of the Dog. Man, I almost teleported back here! I didn't even know Mongrel had blessed me with such a spell, but it seemed a little wasteful."

Those who had met Planus before his last adventure might notice this consideration of wastefulness is a wholly unexpected shift Planus's thinking.

He notices the new arrivals who seem to be looking for adventures and inquires, "So what are you hiring for? Havine a lich problem?" he says hopefully.

"A dragon problem. You are a priest of the Mongrel? What spells have you mastered... you mentioned teleportation?"

Planus holds up the small wooden hound's tooth he wears around his neck and says with a smile, "For as long as I can remember. What spells have I mastered? Well, none at all. Mongrel just helps me out when I get in trouble, which honestly seems to be most of the time. Through me, he struck a gith yonki priestess blind in the Astral plane, he can greatly increase my strength and skill at arms for a time. I've never actually used them, I believe he has granted me the ability to teleport short distances and to sow confusion amongst my enemies.

"A dragon problem you say? We killed a dragon once. Well, really more of a dragon man, but he breathed fire and everything. Lady Katherine the bardess would know what to do with your dragon. I didn't sound like she has been around lately, though. Hey Iggy, do you know anything about dragons?" He finishes slightly conspiratorially to the madam, "Iggy knows something about everything."

Iggy is shocked by the messages brought. "Brimbor destroyed? Why that's barely a stone's throw from my home in Tharol! Tharol is still standing, I hope! I certainly would volunteer to go defend my homelands from dragons. Indeed, that is what I have been prepaing to do for the last several years. In a matter of speaking anyway. It is known that centuries ago, there was much more need of heroes in this world. What is less-known, is that those times would return. Several of us here have been being groomed for such a task by powerful celestial forces. Or so it would seem."

"But please pardon my manners."
Iggy bows and takes the Lady's hand. "I am Ignatious O'Reilly, Divinor, Loremaster, and graduate of the Academy of the Chromatic Order in Medibaria. I am able to cast spells of the fourth circle, including some of the spells mentioned by Opale, with additional divination ones. I did study under Jarvys Dendril, among others. My ambition was always to be a loremaster. Dragons...letsee. Four powerful dragons appear out of nowhere, repleat with an army of retainers..."

OOC1: Does Iggy know anything about dragons in general or these in particular? Any rumors of where they might have been hiding? He doesn't have 'bardic lore' yet, but here's his knowledge skills:
Knowledge (arcane)............................11 +5 +2 +18
Knowledge (the planes)........................7 +5 +12
Knowledge (history)...........................10 +5 +15
Knowledge (local)..............................4 +5 +9

OOC2: I was actually hoping to get a 'Loremaster badge' or some such thing from the Academy for Iggy. As he teleported directly to the RDI from his last adventure, he hasn't had a chance to go back to the academy. I'll try to get him back there during, or between adventures.
