Union, where 15th level bards that should be heading up colleges take leave of their senses and become groupies, and warriors that should be at the head of empire-crushing armies decide, instead, to take care of petty crime.

For the gods, in their wisdom, agreed that the city was LAME. And lo!! From the depths of the Abyss, to the Height of the Seven Heavens, through Sigil, the Far Realm, and even stranger places, the call rang out "UNION IS LAME AND SHOULD BE DESTROYED!!"

A swift attack by experts in logic and rhetoric convinced the inhabitants of Union of the inherent contradictions of the city. Therefore, Union disappeared in a puff of rainbow colored logic and the Multiverse rejoiced.

The rest of the multiverse conspires to wipe it out of existence because it's threatening to turn into the Elemental Plane of Suck and thus destablize all of reality.

It jumped the EPIC LEVEL shark with the 15th level fishmonger and the 18th level baker. Everything else is downhill from there.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the spell anti-genesis should be made available to every mage with the ability to cast it and the good sense to know when a demiplane should be ripped from its ethereal moorings and imploded like some living, animate, piñata.
