Union

. . . the most unrealistic city of them all. And seeing how the deity survivor thread worked out, I'm guessing the final standing city will be the one least known / cared about rather than the most liked. So the most well known will be the first to fall - excluding Union, the most poorly thought out, designed, etc city on the list, which will be the first to fall.

Wait... that happened in your game too? I thought I was being original!

Demiurge out.

I have very fond memories of my Cthulu Comes to Town campaign. Elminster's completely insane, Mystara has been devoured, Drizzit becomes a high-ranking cultist of Nylarhotep, the Simbul is found in the Frostfell eating baby orcs....ah, a high-magic world becomes an interesting place when you turn magic on its ear. :)

I've yet to really find a good way to do the same thing to Eberron, but I've had a few ideas. :]

Step one: ???
Step two: Xoriat becomes coterminous.
Step three: Prophet! Screaming Ia Ia while the world burns in an orgy of chaos and madness that is...

(( Oh, and Union sucks completely. No redeeming value. I'm sure that people get all nostalgic about Greyhawk City, but the thing is stale tofu to me. I'll vote for it next for sheer blandosity. ))

When i saw union up there, i couldn't remember where it was from or the content within until i read further in the thread. I just had this overwhelming irrational hatred pop up and snapped at a coworker. Goodbye to the level 76 turd.

Hmm. I was originally going to include references to where the cities came from in my first post, but didn't want it to come down to Campaign World Wars!(tm). I might have to reconsider revising that notion in the next round, though, to help refresh some memories.
