Last time, on City Survivor:

Once more, Glantri City found itself quickly on the chopping block, this time running an ongoing battle with Sharn. Sadly, the notorious contentiousness of the Princes of Glantri divided them in the midst of war. Without a united front, the city was overrun, and the Great School of Magic razed to the ground. Some claim it was the work of the sorceress J.K. Rowling, attempting to secure the position of her own demon-pacted Hogwart's Academy. :p

With only seven cities remaining- which city will emerge as the ultimate Survivor?

The contenders:

City of Brass: The fabled extraplanar home of the evil efreeti.
Freeport: Avast ye! This be the main port o' call for Green Ronin's d20 materials!
Greyhawk City: The Free City of Gygaxian origination.
Lankhmar: Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser (and not those two similar guys from Greyhawk novels) call this place home.
Ptolus: The City by the Spire, this city boasts the largest visitor's guide known to man!
Sharn: Chief city of the world of Eberron, they've managed to solve overpopulation problems by building straight up!
Sigil: Another city by a spire, though this one's a little more remote. The planar hub of the multiverse.

I always thought Greyhawk was the name of the world/campaign setting; I didn't know it was a city until this poll started up!

p.s. I'm voting Sigil off. Too random-bizarro for my tastes.

City of Brass: The fabled extraplanar home of the evil efreeti.
I'm surprised the City of Brass has held in there. I mean all that it has going for it is its name and mythos surrounding it.

Freeport: Avast ye! This be the main port o' call for Green Ronin's d20 materials!
I'm not surprised Freeport has lasted. Lots of Green Ronin fans on enworld and though I am a fan of GR, I would not be sad if Freeport failed to survive.

Greyhawk City: The Free City of Gygaxian origination.
Greyhawk City has always been boring. Good to see it is getting the ax finally.

Lankhmar: Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser (and not those two similar guys from Greyhawk novels) call this place home.
I wish the setting was updated to 3.5, but since I wouldn't mind it not surviving, I can understand why it isn't updated to 3.5.

Ptolus: The City by the Spire, this city boasts the largest visitor's guide known to man!
wonderful city. Worthy of surviving.

Sharn: Chief city of the world of Eberron, they've managed to solve overpopulation problems by building straight up!
(sort of kidding) why is this city from a blight of a campaign world still doing around? The City should die, die, die. <guess what city I voted for :p >

Sigil: Another city by a spire, though this one's a little more remote. The planar hub of the multiverse.
Another one that is worthy of surviving.

Sharn. A city with no map? Get your cartographer's on that ASAP! Sharn has plenty of high level NPC class characters; someone ought to be able to do it!

What, you want to shell out megabucks for a product with 283 pages of maps? Sharn's topography is 3 dimensional, with thousands of levels; do they all need to be mapped out? The maps provided in the book are perfect; you know where each district is and can fill in details as needed. I don't need every building's location mapped out.

Hey you! Yeah you! Stop voting for Ptolus!
I'm surprised to see it running neck and neck with Greyhawk myself.

Although I suppose we're getting down to the point where there really aren't any "dud" choices left too.
