Does WoTC have an official ruling on how the Weapon Master powers work as far as weapons with multiple types?

For example, the at-will says that for an axe it adds damage and for a polearm it makes shifting provoke opportunity attacks.

How is the ruling on weapons such as halberds which are both? Do you pick one or do both abilities proc?

I also don't know that there's an answer. I'd expect it to be covered either when these are cleaned up for the next DDI update or by an FAQ entry...

The rules in the PHB1 (p 215) say that weapons with multiple types gain benefits from all their types, and I don't see anything in the article that contradicts this, so at the moment I would say that powers from that Class Acts get both of the benefits.

Of course this is subject to change.
