Classes with stat bonuses to AC

James McMurray

First Post
Hi all, just a couple quick questions for you:

1) What classes grant stat bonuses to AC besides Dexterity?

Monk = Wisdom
Duelist, Bladesinger = Int

Any others?

2) Do similar bonuses stack: such as a duelist's int bonus to AC and a bladesinger's int bonus to AC?

Thanks!

Forsaker adds Con, and I think... some class in the FR books adds Cha.

Mystic wanderer, from MaoF; aka the hippie class. Adds Cha bonus to AC when not wearing armour.

Speaking of which, yet another anti-Cha dump feat:

Bulletproof Nudity [General]

Prereqs: BAB +1, Cha 15+

Benefit: You may add your Cha bonus to your AC when not wearing armour. If you are actually nude (no clothing), you add double your Cha bonus to AC instead and your opponents suffer a 25% miss chance on attacks.

Special: This feat only works against members of the opposite sex (and homosexual members of your own sex).

Given the Scarred Lands rule about Spellcasting causing large amounts of heat, causing spellcasters to be scantly dressed, this could be even Worse. :rolleyes:

I hope the nudity part was simply a humorfactor, Hong? Otherwise, you could have a naked Telepath with +12 to AC.

Like bonuses do not stack, with a couple of exceptions. Unamed bonuses stack with everything. The duelist's Int bonus to AC is similar to a dodge bonus, but is unamed, so it stacks with everything. The bladesinger's bonus is a dodge bonus equal to his Int bonus. It would stack even with other dodge bonuses, because that is one of the exceptions to the like bonuses don't stack rule. Each of these would stack with the other, too.
