Classic 1st edition AD&D Game (Recruiting?)

In my test I only had 23% of any consecutive sequence of 6 rolls (95 sequences) end up with 4 13's or higher. That's a little above average, but not by much.

What can I say? Getting a ranger was not supposed to be easy, though I quolified on my first try, HERE. They ended up being 16, 16, 16, 13, 11, 10. Go ahead and use those, unless you were set on having a character with 3 17s. Now that's tough to get!

What I rolled was better than that, I just had to switch out str, dex, and int. Oh, could you give me a total on the cost of my equipment?

Wait, I just looked at your character again... it has the required stats... oh wait, you just editted it! Does that mean you've reconcidered?

John, your equipment comes to a total of 114gp 11sp. That's assuming that your shield is a small wooden shield (1gp) rather then a small metal (10gp) or large metal (15gp). I also assumed that your boots were either low hard, or high soft (1gp). I did not add the price of the longbow (60 gp)

So that would be 174 gp 11 sp plus arrows and quiver with the longbow?

A quiver with a 20 arrow capacity would cost 12 sp (20sp to a gp, 10cp toa silver), while a 12 arrow quiver would cost 8sp. Arrows are 2 sp each, or 1gp for a dozen (12). Silver arrows are 1gp each.
