Jasper looks down at his mug, and idly starts scraping at the grime with his finger, although it won't come off. He looks up when his tablemates speak and nods at the newcomer, but quickly returns to trying to rub the grime off and then goes back to devouring his chicken.

Elana

(smiling wistfully)

"I have heard tales of High Druids at one with the Green, who can break unnatural curses and infirmities. I myself cannot; the Green has only recently begun to speak to me, though I continue to... (looks at Jasper oddly as he scratches grime) ...learn what she has to say to me each day.

"Perhaps when next I ...meet some of the others of faith, I can speak with them on your condition."

(looks at the other two expectantly, but not volunteering anything personally)

Lexandar sighs. I had expected as much. My trial continues. Lex looks at the those assembled at the table and asks, So now that you all know why this Elven noble is on the roads what about the rest of you? What has brought you to this city near the lake under the world?

Elana looks at the brash halfling with surprise, staring obviously at his forwardness, but saying nothing.

Turning to Lexander:

"I am Elana. I will sit with you."

She sits in the wooden chair after what looks like a quick prayer. Turning to see what looks like a ranger or at least a warrior familiar with nature, She nods a quick welcome, and staring at the worn mug. Before she can comment on the drink, she notes the passing cloud, before turning back to face her tavern-mates.

She looks at the elf with attentiveness, waiting for him to speak his mind.

(If the halfling interrupts, she'll stare at him with slight annoyance, but then continue paying attention to the elf.)

The man you think a ranger returns a bow and says "Falryn follower of Ehlonna, at yer' service milady." You see that the symbol around his neck is indeed hers.

He then thanks the elf for his hospitality and takes a seat. "What curse is this you speak of good sir? For if milady's order cannot help perhaps Ehlonna's clergy would be of help."

The halfling looks up from his meal. "Don't tell me you've never heard of the great Jasper Greenbottle?" he asks, after looking about to make sure no guards are around. "The Alleyhound?" he offers when no one recognizes the name. He rolls his eyes up in his head when still, his name is unrecognized. He sighs as he explains, "I used to work on the docks of the Underground Sea. Now I'm a specialist in controlled acquisitions, a thief y'might say if you were unkind." He winks and returns to his food, picking every last morsel of meat from the bones.

"I follow where my lady leads" Falryn says while caressing his holy symbol.

Well met. What of you Priestess? What brings you to the sea? Lex asked. His curiosity was piqued, who were these people and why did it seem that his life was about to alter in very powerful ways?

Elana

(smiling slightly at the man of Elhonna) "I thought I sensed a walker in woods in you. The Lady of the Forests is not my patron, but your ways are peaceful."

"As for my reasons, I go where the Green wills it. Of late, I... find myself in need of employment in the lands of men. Nature provides, but it does not provide all things. Past that goal, I shall see."

Looking at Jasper "Greenbottle? Like the fly, little one?"

"Controlled Acquisition? I... see. You say you worked the Underground Rivers and Seas? Pray you tell us more of them, and what you have seen? Though I have heard of them, I've never visited - The green has always called me above, never below."

The waitress heads to the table once more, looking at the strange collection of adventures and asks "Ya going ta eat, or not?" with a smile that looks glued on rather then cultivated.

The other patrons seem to start heading for different places as night falls, as others come in to fill their empty chairs. A man with very pale skin and black hair walks into the bar with a grace belying his human hertage and an opening through the croud seems to form around him as he makes his way to the bar to talk to a woman there. Almost instantly it seems that he had captivated the womans attention and within minutes starts to head out, with the young woman in tow.
