Cleric 4 with scroll of Divine Power at caster level 7

Okay, so my 4th level cleric purchased a duo of scrolls of Divine Power, at caster level 7. Now, the Str 18 part is easy, but . . .

Originally in the PHB
Calling upon the divine power of your patron, you imbue yourself with strength and skill in combat. You gain the base attack bonus of a fighter of yoiur total character level, and enhancement bonus to Strength sufficient to raise your Strength score to 18 (if it is not already 18 or higher), and 1 temporary Hit Point per level.

So my question is, do I gain the BAB of a 4th level fighter and 4 temporary HP, or the BAB of a 7th level fighter and 7 temporary HP (Providing I use the scroll at this level)?

I would be of the opinion that you would have as a 4th level fighter and 4 extra hp. I read the spell as modifying the character as he/she is at that moment. Casting it at a higher level doesn't really change the parameters of the spell.

I'd go with the BAB of a 4th lvl Ftr and 4 temporary hp. The spell doesn't make any mention of caster level with regard to the benefits, which seem to affect the target based on his own current status.

I'll have to disagree with everyone and say that you get a Bab of +4 and 7 temporary HP. The Base attack is based off character level and has nothing to do with caster level. The temporary HP are based on caster level, which is 7.

Actually I think you've got it right. So I'm switching my position. See, you aren't disagreeable any more :D

first off... Alariel, great pic. Had to stare at it for a few moments before continuing my reading. I love great artwork.

With Divine power, the 4th level cleric with a 7th level scroll. The cleric becomes a 4th level fighter, but has 7 temp HP because of the original scroll maker.

Had it been a level 1 cleric, it would be a level 1 fighter with 7 temp hp. Still makes the spell useful.

Now in the inverse. A 10th level cleric with a 7th level scroll. +10 bab and +7hp.

Still very useful.
