Cleric / Wizard

Feats = 1st Practiced Spellcaster (Clerical Spells)
3rd Practiced Spellcaster (Wizard Spells) and Scribe scroll (Wizard Bonus)
(Rest of Feats would concentrate on Item Creation)

Since I will only have three HD in other levels I will only get a 3 caster level boost but that should help, at least on certain spells, make up for lack of level progession initially.

The Practised Spellcaster feat gives a boost of +4 (to a max of HD) - that is you don't get to boost your caster level in a given class to more than your total hit dice - for you PC Cleric 2.wizard 1 you would have a CL of 3 for both cleric and wizard spells.

Note that this doesn't grant you access to spells only effects that depend on CL.

I missed this Feat and will be using it at first level instead of skill focus (concentration) for Cleric spells and again at level three for the Wizard spells, thankz.

While you can take Skill Focus multiple times, you can't have it apply to the same skill twice. Also not sure what you mean with "for Cleric spells" since Skill Focus applies to skills, not spells, the Concentration skill in this case, which can be used while casting either type spell, or other tasks.

He is going to take Practised Spellcaster (wizard) at first level instead of Skill Focus (Concentration).

At third level, he is taking Practised Spellcaster (cleric).

I hope this clears up any confusion you may have experienced. This has been a public service announcement.

Sounds like a cool character. What do you plan to do once you get through all 10 levels of Mystic Theurge? You'll end up at about character level 16 with 4 levels left to go and no more MT. That's the final dilemma I'm facing now during my planning stage. Of course, if you know the game will not last that long, then it's all good. I just hate to bank on that... even though I've only played in one D&D game in 35 years (my entire life actually) that went from 1 to 20. Is that silly?

No plans to even get to MT 10. The character will be played to MT 1 or 2 then retired as an (level advancing) NPC in the original campaign world a friend and I are co-developing. If/when it gets High enough, It will probably just go from one PrC to another until spells per day is maxed out. Of course if I start out EPIC MT as level 13 spell caster in both arcane and divine and want to max out spells per day I would be what a 34th level character?

Then again Campaign needs could trash everything :)

I am also working up a favored soul/war mage just for fun (maybe as an Evil NPC)

OH, I see now, I misread it. Btw anyone else experiencing weird color issues on this website recently? At this rate I'll be misreading a lot more soon.
EDIT: Found a way to fix it in the options. Odd that the white one was actually called Child of Black.

You get caster level 13 at MT level 10 and character level 16 already. Assuming you fill the 4 remaining levels with 2 caster levels each (don't think there's another class like MT), then you'd be caster level 16 and MT level 11 at character level 21 and caster level 29 and MT level 24 at character level 34. If you are referring to level 13 spells, they don't exist as far as I can tell, but I haven't updated by ELH to 3.5 yet.
