Clerics Aura (Ex) - what effect(s) does it have exactly?

Greetings,

what effects does the cleric's aura have, except for being a bright "beacon" of his/her alignment for spells like detect [alignment]?

For example, does a lawful good cleric seem somehow more "trustworthy" to normal people? Or is his aura beyond any mundane senses, even subconciously?

I am interested in concrete rules as well as how you personally manage this in your games.

Thanks for any enlightenment

V.

That's exactly what it does. You glow super-red when they cast a detect spell.

Concrete rules belong here. Creative personal rules ("house rules") usually go in the House Rules forum. :)

I think you just register on the appropriate "detect Alignment" spells. Being a cleric, you have a strong aura and a greater chance of overwhelming peons that detect your alignment magically, once you are up in the levels.
