CN vs. N: Chaotic Neutral Victorious!

Bill curses out loud with seemingly random sounds*. Bill's never been good as a little grappling monkey boy, so he's gonna try to escape (escape artist +1 [+2 Dex -1 buckler], still better than a grapple), then move straight north by 30 feet to 90N40E.

* "Get your stinking paws off me, you damned dirty ooze!"

The more Bill tries, the worse it gets. The ooze is like super glue and Bill realizes there is no escape.

Round 146:

The ooze attacks with two pseudopods and misses.

"Inconceivable!" Bill exclaims.

"Impossible!" Bill yells.

"Totally absurd!" Bill screams.

I guess there's nothing else for it, but to bite it to death, or die in the attempt. He hopes his magically modified defenses will help, but this is one tricky pile o' goo.

Bill misses.

Round 147: Ooze hits for 5, Bill misses. Bill has 1 hp left.

Round 148: Both miss.

Round 149: Both miss.

Round 150: Both miss.

Round 151: Both miss.

Round 152: The ooze hits for 6 and avoids a draw! Bill is defeated!

Next up for CN: a feral slasher. (Creature Catalog)

A small hyena-looking beast trots into the arena to 60N35E and tries to take a bite outta Crime, the impossible protoplasmic ooze. The weirdest thing about the hyena isn't the abnormally puffy, crazy fur or the wild look in its eyes, or even the fierce razor-sharp teeth, its the fact that Ferris walks upright.

There's not much more to this combat for Ferris will attack each round with a fury unrivaled in the history of the Battle of All Alignments. Let's see if you can roll better for Ferris than you did for Bill. :)

Ferris starts with a bang. (Rolled 28) 5 points of damage! Crime has 17 hp left.

Ferris' teeth get stuck in the glue. (Rolled 11 Ref save) Crime pulls him into his square.

Round 153: Crime hits for 6, Ferris claws for 3. Crime 14 hp, Ferris 9 hp.

Round 154: Crime misses, Ferris hits twice for 8! Crime 6 hp left.

Round 155: Crime misses, Ferris hits twice for 2. Crime 4 hp left.

Round 156: Crime misses, Ferris hits for 1. Crime 3 hp left.

Round 157: Both miss.

Round 158: Crime misses, Ferris hits for 1. Crime 2 hp left.

Round 159: Crime misses, Ferris claws for 3!

Round 160: Crime is defeated! Luckily it is teleported away, or Ferris would still be stuck.

A cross between a halfling and a bat flies to 60N80E15Z.

OOC: I don't see how Ferris gets two attacks with his bite if his BAB is below +6.

OOC: It's worse than that because natural weapons do not follow the iterative BAB progression. There must be a special ability that's not listed. Yeah, that's the ticket. Go Ferris!

Seeing the half-batling fly into the arena enrages Ferris even more. He takes off to the east to sit beneath his opponent and ready to bite him when he comes down. The crowds in the Shearing Pen cheer with delight at watching the crazy-looking bipedal hyena move. Even the gnolls laugh at the spectacle.

Round 161:

Bat-boy hovers and emits a piercing shriek.

Ferris is too enraged to see it coming. (Rolled 9 Fort save) He takes 4 points of damage and is paralyzed! He has 5 hp left.

Bat-boy descends to 5 feet high.

Round 162:

Bat-boy pulls a reverse Ozzy and tries to bite Ferris' head off! He CDG's for 3. Ferris dies! (Rolled 10 Fort save)

Next up for CN: an azmyth. (Creature Catalog)

The azmyth goes next in round 162.

Another bat-like creature flies into the arena, flying to 0N0E115Z. Unlike Batboy, however this one has has no hair and emerald green, leathery skin with a darker green crested head. He's four feet long with a three-foot wingspan and white, pupilless eyes.

Azimuth's plan is to use invisibility next round and then fly to Batboy and nail him with a shocking grasp. It's obvious that Batboy has at least good manueverability, but hopefully he doesn't have a really good fly speed. Going first, Azimuth doesn't want to risk getting that nasty shriek before he can deliver his own attack.
