[CoC] Sick-n-Twisted (Fresh Meat)

Jim stopped just inside the joint, taking a moment to case the place. Then, ignoring Bruder's friend and the punks for the moment, he carefully sized up the figure in the black hood, particularly interested in noting any loose valuables that might be readily apparent.

(OOC Time to pickpocket the shadowy minion of dread cthulhu:D. Or not)

As Bruder enters the bar, shaking the worst of the water off his jacket, he notices Harry.

"Bugger," he thinks, "I should have expected him to be here."

Its not that Bruder doesn't like Harry, its just that seeing Harry made him realise that he had been hoping to have a quite chat with Jim about the sword and ... stuff. If Harry takes it upon himself to join them, then that conversation is just not going to happen.

Bruder figures the best thing to do is just keep it to a hello at the bar.

"You get a booth, I'll get the drinks. What'll you have?" he says to Jim.

Interrupted from his examination of the hooded stranger, Jim thought better of trying anything at the moment. "I'll take another beer," he replied, making for a booth in the corner furthest away from the punks. From there, he once again takes up his observation of the shadowy figure, but he'll break it off if Bruder joins him or the figure becomes aware of his scrutiny.

Bruder heads over to the bar to order a couple of beers. With the place this quiet, it pretty easy to pick a spot a little away from Harry without going out of his way. He props a leg on the footrail and waits for Jack to catch his eye.

OOC: I'll pause it here for the mo' to see if Kuro wants to throw anything in.

OOC: I think I have seen Kuro on the boards so. [/pause]

Bruder gets the beers and heads over to the booth Jim has found. Its seems that Harry was satisfied with a quick "Hey Harry". Perhaps he's got his own problems. Perhaps he picked up on Bruder's reluctance to get drawn into a conversation.

As Bruder walks over to the booth, something about the way Jim is sitting tugs at his attention.

"Jeez, you're not casing the joint, are you?" he says quietly to Jim as he hands over the beer. "Give it a rest." The last part is said with an accompanying smile. A small smile, but a smile never-the-less. Its been a long week.

"Nah. Not anymore, anyway. Now I'm just casing that guy," he said, nodding towards the shadowy agent of DOOM AND DESTRUCTION! BWAHAHAHA!

(OOC: LOL, we are both really anxious to keep the game going. We gotta give Kuro more time to respond though. Sure hope Harry wasn't important to the storyline:D)

Back to the story:

You notice that the man seems to be in pain. Without giving too much attention to him you can see that he keeps his left arm away from touching anything. He looks up as you enter. You cannot see anything in his face, shrouded by the black hood. As you both move to a secluded booth, he slowly rises and limps over to where you are sitting.

"Well, Bruder. Didn't expect you here tonight, after what happened." he says in a hissing voice. The man slides into the chair next to him. "Your mother was such a sweet thing. Pity she had to die."

"Oh well. It's sad, but it had to be that way."

ooDM (again): hah. eat that :D and don't worry about ignoring people, they're there to be ignored. :)

Eyes wide, Jim gaped at their new aquaintance. He waited for Bruder to respond, as he himself was at a loss for words.

Bruder looks at the guy for a moment, a slightly nonplussed look on his face, then drives his elbow up into the man's jaw. As the man's head jerks back, he shifts alittle and reaching up, grabs the back of the man's head, which he proceeds to slams face first into the table.

Holding the man face down on the table by the back of his neck, Bruder leans forwards and says quitely, "F**k you and your mother too. I'm sorry, do I know you?"

Grabbing a napkin from the table in his left hand, Jim jumps up and takes a quick look around the bar to see if anyone attempts to intervene, with his right hand inside his jacket, ready to pull his gun.

If no one gets involved, he turns toward the hooded figure and advances from the opposite side of Bruder. Pulling out his pistol and hiding it under the napkin, he puts the tip of the silencer in the man's face. "Start talking, a**hole."
