Just escaped Secret of the Slavers Stockade. My cleric just stopped a ritual run by several ogres who were all better role-players than the goddamn paladin.

Game night: Assault on the Aerie of the Slave Lords! My Jester from Dragon #60 slew a gelatinious cube with a critical hit but didn't bother to save the bloodied paladin.

Playtesting in The Temple of Elemental Evil. My dwarf just slew a bewildered unicorn who killed the bewildered paladin.

Paladin: "What?! You're a unicorn?! Why are you killing meeee?!"
Unicorn: "I DON'T KNOW?!"
Dwarf: "MAGIC RACIST ATTACK! MINORITY CREATURE CANNOT BE TOLERATED!"

So, there's conjecture that if a Chinese animation studio is involved from the start, to handle the artwork (and possibly animated work for a video game and/or the VTT) then maybe that's why its being called D&D Next Media Animation.
