Combat expertise and power attack

I once had a halberd wielding ftr/sor whose "ultimate technique" was to cast true strike and then in the next round charge with full expertise/fight defensevly and full PA. He didn't use this very often but when played at just the right moment it was prety impressive.

Can you use both combat expertise and fighting defensively and get the bonuses from both? That would be useful to use with Power Attack if you need a 20 to hit anyway.

Sure. You can use both at the same time, and with Power Attack too. Since nobody mentioned it, don't forget that all the penalties stack.
