In most situations, the most you'll pull is 4. And they're most likely going to be minions as stated above.

But that's perfect. It still feels good to be able to swing at three or so critters, but it isn't "broken." Also nice if you have a rogue nearby to grab some quick combat advantage.

It's also nice if you've got a Warlock around who has both Fey Switch and Otherwind Stride. Fighter pulls 'em in, then whacks 'em. Warlock swaps out with Fighter as a move action, then teleports out as a standard, damaging and immobilizing anything that he hits.
 

Yes, our swordmage also did something like the one above (just without the immobilisation) last game. It was even more impressive as he had already been unconscious in the fight. Remember to mark the ones coming at you (im sure you will - defenders are good at remembering)!
