i realise my first vote in this survivor thread is probably a death sentence for the city watch rather than helping save it by rounding it up to 2 points but i like it so i tried, it's still lasted a fair while but i wonder how many are downvoting it because 'ew, you want to be a cop for your background?', i remember that being a discussion point a while back.
if you think i should've voted for it earlier if i wanted to save it well that's because i've only been checking in on the thread sporadically every few days.

Ooof. That took entirely too long. I think we're finally free of the oligarchy.
Bummer that the City Watch is long gone; it's been a favorite of mine for years. Apparently it was too "cop-like"? Soldier is still around, though, so I'm not sure how much I believe that.
Ah well. What next? Take out the bard, or take out the rogue?

I don't mind the mage...er, sage; it's in my Top Five with acolyte, outlander, and hermit. I'm kinda bored with the dozen different flavors of "I'm a bad guy lol," but I'll hold off on that for as long as I can.
