Hi everyone.
I have a fascination with the way WOTC has handled the buildup to the release of the newest edition of D&D, and how different it is compared to how 4th edition D&D was previewed. As I recall, with 4e, both the official WOTC publicity and the public's reaction to it was quite different (almost exactly opposite, in fact).
Does anyone have any links or saved pages that document the run-up to 4e? Also, how do you remember the run-up, and how do you think it compares to the current one?
PS: I am not sure if this belongs in General or New Horizons. Mods, of course, can move it wherever they like.
