I propose that the the two creature catalog forums be merged into one forum. Both forums are fairly low traffic. And its not clear (to me) that there is much distinction between the two. The descriptions are:

General Monster Talk
Discuss the monsters of D&D, conversions, or the Creature Catalog website. This is also the place to request conversions.

Homebrews
This is the place to post your own conversions or homemade monsters for all to see and critique.

The homebrews forum is theoretically the place to post conversions or homebrews, but it seems to me that lots get posted in the Monster Talk forum, either as responses to a conversion request, part of an ongoing discussion, or for no reason at all. I think we ought to just combine the forums into a single one.

Well you are correct about some homebrew monsters being posted in this forum. That is why Boz, me, and Erica move them when we find them.

And I prefer to keep the forums seperate. Its easier to find stuff that way. Lots of people use one or the other but not both (though lots use both as well).

NO! <Hit BMCdaniel over the head with a stick> Bad boy!, bad bmcdaniel.

Seriously though, only people that are to lazy to read the forum topics post their homebrew creatures in the 'General Monster Talk' forum, but we usually staighten them out after a whack or two :D And as Grazzt said, the board moderators move the threads to the appopriate forum. And besides, joining the forums would be really annoying, and confusing to some. It's much easier to get an overlook when the the forums are separate.

Oh, and by the way, sorry for hitting you over the head with a stick, it was a reflex :D

yeah, SOME people (heh heh) were posting so many conversions on the original forum that it just had to be split up into two. :) i think it works much better that way, and i'm sure the majority will agree. the low-traffic killed the third forum, but the other two are alive and well.
