Littlejohn's art thread fired me up, so I thought I'd share some of my more recent stuff with the board.

I did this first piece as a spec drawing for one of Wulf's totally Bad Axe Heroes of High Favor books.

p.s.: Vermeer roXXors my world. One of the true masters, his work is more analytical than passionate, but oh my. So. Damn. Fine. Check it out!

Continuing the halfling theme, this character is a dog-riding monkey grip halfling fighter I'm dying to spring on my unsuspecting DM.

The running joke is that as soon as a character gets a portrait on the character sheet, they get a dirt nap. It's gotten to the point that my fellow players encourage me to do drawings of the villains . . . I thought I'd just short-circut the neo voodo fetish doll and create the portrait before I break the PC out.

He'll live forever.

This halfling got a portrait *after* he died. Pippin was an industrious and sadly short-lived character in a home-brew "Return To" game chronicled on this messageboard.

An exerpt from his eulogy, given by the Right Canon Turgeon (over a closed casket):

"He may not have been the cleverest of Hobbits, and certainly his decision to enter single combat with two Doppelgangers was less than prudent, but I believe that in his final act, he embodied all that is best about our Faith; A Relentless and Holy Zest to Smite Evil."
