The Great Morningstar Give-Away!
I have some extra author's copies of the Morningstar Campaign Setting Hardcover. What better to do with them, but to send them to a few of you? Five lucky winners will get to experience the Age of Majesty for free with signed copies of the core book- and if you live in the US, you won't even have to pay shipping! Pay attention to Roleplaying General over the next five days (Tuesday through Saturday), and you just might win. The Canticle is Rising, and the need for heroes is becoming dire- Will you be counted among them?
Contest Rules
*Goodman Games is not affiliated with this contest, and shall not be responsible for any problems that may arise. Please contact the author of Morningstar, R. Scott Kennan at Rskennan@comcast.net with any questions or comments.
*This contest is open to everyone, worldwide; however, postage and handling can only be paid for US Residents. I am a poor D20 writer, after all. : )
* All topics will be started with a question, and replies must be at least one sentence long, and in answer to the question. Any form of answer is fine, even if technically wrong. This is ensures that a single poster doesn't rig the contest with empty posts.
*One entry per person, per day. In the case of double posts, the first post will be counted.
*Entrants will place the number of their post at the top of each post, and will modify, if possible, any errors committed because of another poster posting sooner. Failing to do so will not disqualify an entrant, but is preferred.
*There will be five (5) threads- one per day of the week from Tuesday the 14th of October, through Saturday the 18th of October. These will begin at any time before midnight, and will be clearly marked by number, day, and whether they are still active for the purposes of the contest.
*The winning number for a given thread will be rolled on a 20-sided die ahead of time, and the post within the thread AFTER MY OWN, AND IGNORING ANY OF MY REPLIES, that corresponds to that number wins a copy of MORNINGSTAR. in other words, , if I rolled a 3, the third poster, not including myself would win a copy of the book. An independent and impartial judge will verify the results.
*Each thread will be closed to further posts as soon as possible after the 20th post. In the event that site moderators are not able to aid in closing the thread, I will post a CONTEST CLOSED message.
*Winners will be announced no later than Monday the 20th of October, and copies of MORNINGSTAR will be sent out as soon as possible after that.
*No entrant may win more than one copy.
*EN World, R. Scott Kennan, and Goodman Games are not liable for problems or issues caused by computer equipment, either server side or client side. The decisions of the Judges are final. R. Scott Kennan and the impartial judge are final arbiters, and may adjudicate instances of apparent unfair competition, within the spirit of the game.
