Contest: Win a free D20 book!

Hey, all. I'm running another contest from my web site, at www.mouseferatu.com. The short version is, I'm looking for feedback on some of my older modules, so as to continually improve for future projects. In exchange for writing a review of certain products (listed on my site), you have the chance to win a free copy (signed, if you so choose) of certain other products (also listed on my site). Further details can be found--where else?--on the web site.

And, to make matters even better, this contest may also wind up adding to EN World's own reviews section, so everyone wins. :D

Hope to be hearing from you folks.

Sigh..."This contest is not open to anyone....who is a "staff" reviewer on any major RPG site".

:(

Best of luck on this, anything that gets people to write reviews is good in my book
!! :D

Sorry to disappoint, guys. I'd love to see some (or all ;)) of you write reviews for the books mentioned. I just really wanted to keep the contest on an even basis, and I just felt it would be unfair to allow you pros to compete with everyone else.

Maybe I'll do a "pros only" contest at some point in the future. ;)

Dang. I almost want to buy one of those books, just for a chance to win more.

I know the idea is to get feedback on your work, but is there anything else you could use reviewed? Probably not, but a choice from that list is just too good to not ask.

Just a quick question: Egyptian Adventures: Hamunptra is listed among the prizes. You say it's from Green Ronin, but I haven't found any info about it. Are you allowed to tell us a little about what this book is? Sounds like part of their Mythic Vistas line, but I don't see it listed there.

Thanks.

I'm afraid not. I know that I may be limiting the contest to people who already own, or can get hold of, one of the books on the list. But since I'm specifically looking at module-related stuff, I really need to keep it restricted to those books. Heck, I've worked on other D20 products that aren't on the list, because they aren't module-related.

For what (little) it may be worth, Shadows Under Thessalaine is available as a relatively cheap PDF at RPG Now. (Of course, as my first D20 product ever, I don't personally think it's as good as the others on the list, but hey, it's still a valid option, and I'm still proud of it overall. :))

Not that I expect anyone to spend money to enter a contest. Just mentioning it as a cheap option if you decide you do want to go that route. (And if you're really interested, I believe the other modules may still be available for order from their respective publishers. Can't swear to that, though.)

And no, sales that may result from this contest do not in any way gain me royalties. Just so you know. ;)
