Converting D&D Next Monsters from Murder in Baldur's Gate and Legacy of the Crystal Shard

Anyone try converting monsters from the D&D Next adventures like Murder in Baldur's Gate and Legacy of the Crystal Shard to the final D&D Fifth Edition rules? I'm going to try running one or both of these adventures soon and will have to do some conversion, but was wondering if someone had already done some of the work, before I start?

No idea, I'm afraid.

I haven't been paying much attention to the 5E development, but am just waiting until the dust settles over what the final rules are.

Not sure if you are pulling my leg, Cleon! Fourth Edition came out in 2008. The final rules for Fifth Edition came out in July, and the statistics for many monsters using Fifth Edition rules were released this month. The full Monster Manual was given away to a number of people at GenCon, though it won't be available to the general public until later in September. I want to convert the NPCs and monsters that we only have using the playtest D&D Next rules to the final version of the Fifth Edition rules.

That's just a typo, I meant to hit the "5".

From what I remember, most of the stuff in Murder in Baldur's gate was NPCs, so should be pretty easy to do using the NPC appendix in the Basic DM's document.
