Converting Medusa to a PC Race

For a female player? Because the male ones, in the 2e MM anyway, weren't nearly as potent. They were basically bald guys with 18 Str who were immune to the medusa Gaze attack. Maybe in 3e they would have the Imp Unarmed feat too.

The females, dunno, pretty high. An unlimited-use save-or-die attack will do that.

Yes this would be a female one. In the MM, she's listed as a CR 7 but her petrifying gaze didn't seem all that powerful. I knew the ECL might be pretty high, but this character would be a high level campaign :)
