Well, there is precedence for the "hollow bones" business. Both the aaracockra and the avariel are lighter than humans for these reasons, yet are still the same size. Now granted, neither is Large, but I think we could make it work.

Otherwise, the stats look fine.

I saw the thread, noticed some other fella has been doing the same conversion, and moved along. What exactly was I supposed to see there that helped answer the question? As far as I can tell, he's just another Joe like us doing conversions, so I didn't take his work as gospel. Maybe I just missed the bigger picture.

oh no, i didn't mean to get off track. i was only pointing that thread out to say "wow, damn, that guy has converted nearly all of the remaining PS monsters in less than 2 months." ;) it wasn't supposed to answer any questions that we are working on, other than to show another way that it has been done already. and, the thread contains a few references to monsters that i didn't have listed here already, so i will mine those and put them on our "to-do" list.

heh, true. and when one has that kind of free time on my hands - as i had, once upon a time (back in those carefree days of not working full time and being completely single). ;)

meanwhile, wrote the flavor text and posted in homebrews. :)

Flavor text and description look good.

I like Flyby and Wingover for the feats.

Discern lies DC should be 14, I believe. Since it isn't spell-like, I'm assuming 10 + HD/2 + Cha modifier.

How about +8 for the Knowledge bonus on home plane? Knowledge checks can often have high DCs, so this would help preserve its role as advisor.

maybe with Stealthy as a bonus? ;) Alertness might be overkill with all the bonuses it gets already.
