Converting True Dragons

Probably Power Attack and Cleave.

It gets 80 skill ranks. Max out Climb, Intimidate, Jump, Listen, Spot, Swim, Tumble, and
Use Magic Device? I'd be willing to swap some of those out, especially Tumble.

Dragons have 6+Int skills, not 8+Int, giving it 60 SPs or 6 maxed-out skills.

I'm not fond of Tumble or Use Magic Device for it, but of those two I prefer Tumble as there's nothing about them using magic items in the original text.

Nor would I bother putting much in Swim since we've given it a Swim speed.

Apart from that, I'll suggest some ranks in Knowledge (dungeoneering), or how about Escape Artist, for wriggling through the tight confines of the underworld?

Also, the original text says, "However, they are intelligent enough to recognize and use magical treasures, and often wear jewelry on wingtips, claws, and tail." I figured that's an ok justification for UMD given it's a somewhat underutilized skill.

Know (dungeoneering) sounds good. Maybe in place of Tumble?

Doesn't it have Int 11?

...oh dang, I misread the Wis 11 as Int 11 when I last glanced at its stats.

In that case your calculations are correct.

Okie-dokey. I'll yield on the UMD, and if they like jewels that sounds like a job for Appraise.

We can cut the Climb and Swim as they'll get a +8 racial.

Which neatly presents us with eight skills, so we can max 'em out:

Skills: Appraise, Escape Artist, Knowledge (dungeoneering), Intimidate, Jump, Listen, Spot, Use Magic Device
 

Those skills look good. Ready for feats? I'd suggest Multiattack, Power Attack, and one of potentially several somewhat boring choices. ;)
 



Ahh, yes, you did have a post on the feats up there. Improved Initiative might be the most useful remaining feat.

No, it probably doesn't tie people up much, but maybe we should include that synergy bonus just as a matter of principle.
