The White Witch in battle was seriously bad-a**. That actress had scary-sexy down cold (pun intended), and her fight choreography was really, really cool. The character and the portrayal gave the movie a heft that made it much more than a children's movie, as befits the source.

Actually, for me it was the leopards pulling out front in the charge. It starts out in the classic wedge formation with Peter at the apex and then the leopoards pull ahead as if to say, "No, this is not just an idealized dramatic oil painting of a battle - this is gonna get nasty and we're the ones who'll see to that."
From their slim frames and facial stripes I believe they were cheetahs actually. I took their racing ahead of the main force as a nod to the fact that cheetahs were simply the fastest land animals on the field. When I saw that scene I just nodded happily at the realism of it.Dog_Moon2003 said:Yay, finally someone else who mentions the leopards.
